Inspiration from Mr Still!

Welcome to my blog where I hope to write about my new work, old work, things I am doing at the moment and anything else to do with art that I feel strongly about. So today for instance, I went to the Royal Academy to see the Abstract Expressionists. I had never heard of American artist, Clyfford Still, but I really loved his work and felt inspired to go home and do an inky painting in similar colours to those that he uses!
